Straight answer

The straight answer on white mineral oil

Where it earns its place, and where we will point you to something else.

Where it wins

  • Water-white, odourless and tasteless, from light to heavy viscosity.
  • Medicinal grades tested to USP, BP and EP.
  • PAH-free technical grades for sensitive uses.

When we’ll point you elsewhere

  • Need a semi-solid base rather than an oil? Go to Petroleum jellies.
  • Engine and industrial lubricant base oils are not part of this range.
  • Tell us the end use first. The standard your product needs decides the grade more than the viscosity does.
