Masterbatch dispersion aids by job

White, black, filler or colour — tell us the loading and the carrier, and we will match the wax.

White and filler masterbatch

A low-viscosity FT wax that coats TiO₂ and calcium carbonate and lets the carrier run easier at high loadings.

Colour and black masterbatch

Better pigment wetting and gloss, and less re-agglomeration — so colour strength holds at the same pigment loading.

Replacing PE wax

The FT wax can stand in for PE wax in many masterbatches, possibly at a lower addition level. Prefer to stay with PE wax? We supply that too.

Straight answer

The straight answer on dispersion aids

Where it earns its place, and where we will point you to something else.

Where it wins

  • Much lower melt viscosity than PE wax, so the carrier runs easier.
  • Works across white, black, filler and colour masterbatch.
  • Both FT and PE options, so you can compare on your own line.

FAQ

Dispersion aids questions, answered

Not here? Send it to us — a line or two is enough.
Can FT wax replace PE wax in masterbatch?

In many white, filler and colour masterbatches, yes — and because its melt viscosity is far lower, possibly at a lower addition level. We will suggest a trial ratio.

Does a dispersion aid change the mechanical properties?

Used at normal levels, it lowers the effective viscosity of the carrier without compromising its mechanical properties.

Which form should I use?

Pastilles for most compounding lines; fine powder where you premix with pigment.

Do you still supply PE wax?

Yes, in pastilles and fine powder.
